During the transmission several points of interest emerged, such as the specific characteristics of Italian investors and of the various US investment destination, as well as the most recent figures about trends in American real estate and rent market.
In particular, it turned out to be of great interest the fact that metro areas in the United States – in the timespan from February to May 2020 – experienced a steady increase in rent prices, a clear advantage for those who have invested in US real estate. Similarly, rent fees kept being paid punctually (with a percentage, in May 2020, of over 95.1%, +1% if compared to April 2020) during the whole pandemic.
The intervention then concluded by pointing out how renting in the USA is a praxis, therefore the categories of residential real estate proposed by OPISAS are – de facto – a primary good which does not know crisis of demand.
