What is CBR (Guatemala Chamber of Real Estate Brokers)?
CBR is a private, apolitical, non-profit association founded in 1991. Its commitment is to promote development, ethical defense, and professional training in the real estate sector. Currently representing about 500 real estate agents, it has contributed to process improvements in the industry by introducing an ethical code for its members.
The signing of this alliance during the VIII Latin American Real Estate Congress in Panama marks a significant step toward international expansion and access to the Guatemalan market. The goal is to meet the needs of investors eager to diversify their real estate portfolios in the United States. This collaboration also aims to promote the sharing of knowledge and best practices in the U.S. real estate sector among Guatemalan real estate agents.
Through this partnership, CBR will benefit from a series of webinars, workshops, and training events covering topics such as real estate investments and MLS listings in the United States. The events will be both in-person and virtual, providing members with opportunities to enhance their skills in property management, financing, marketing, and emerging technologies. Services such as accounting and legal services in the United States, mortgage and financing search services, and immigration consultancy will also be addressed. With these benefits, we aim to create a constant flow of information and shared resources that contribute to the development of both parties.
We look forward to sharing with CBR the experience gained over 15 years, assisting foreign investors in expanding their real estate portfolios with properties that offer high returns and appreciation over time in the United States.
