The Miami Association was chartered by the NAR (National Association of Realtors) in 1920; the Association has grown its initial membership of 162 to more than 35,000 in the present day, making it the largest local realtor association in the nation. It is comprised of four organizations, the Residential Association , the Realtors Commercial Alliance, the Broward County Board of Governors and the International Council ; the Miami Association of Realtors represents its professionals in all aspects of real estate sales, marketing, and brokerage at the local, state, national and international levels.
