Having been active in the market since 2008, OPISAS has numerous clients who have purchased properties in the US as investments. Due to the U.S. inflation pushed to +8.6%, geopolitics crises, and extreme volatility in financial markets, the real estate is considered more and more as a safe haven asset, fact that further increased the market’s “hunger of houses”.

The role of MLS

This dynamism and ease are made possible by the MLS (Multi Listing Service), an online platform dedicated to real estate. Basically, it is a huge database where U.S. brokers enter properties available for sale. The service was designed to foster virtuous collaboration among agents.

Once the listing agent places the property on the MLS on behalf of the seller, it’s available to all buyer agents looking for homes on behalf of buyers. A sort of virtual bulletin board where, as it should be in every industry, buyers and sellers meet each other.
